The Building Safety Bill received Royal Assent on 28th April 2022.
Queen’s Speech
The State Opening of Parliament took place on 10th May 2022. The Queen’s Speech announced the following bills which will be of interest to housing professionals: Social Housing Regulation Bill, Renters Reform Bill, Housing Reform Bill. More information can be found below.
Fire Safety Act
On 18th May the Home Office published guidance for use by ‘responsible persons’ under the Fire Safety Act. A copy of the guidance can be found below.
