Emma Carey leads Mersey nominees in Northern Power Women awards

Managing partner at MSB, Emma Carey, is one of a number of Merseyside business leaders shortlisted in the Northern Power Women Awards 2019.

Emma took over as managing partner of MSB just under a year ago and has continued to drive its expansion, as well as push its diversity and inclusion agenda.

She is shortlisted in the Transformational Leader category. Two other Liverpool law firm bosses are also on the shortlist in the same category – Alison Lobb of Morecrofts and Nik White of Brabners (the awards also recognises the contribution of men).

There are a number of other local nominees, including Irene Afful, former Merseyside Police inspector and founder of coaching business, Ametrine Enterprise Solutions, who is shortlisted in the Innovation category. Click here to view the full shortlist.

he number of nominations we received this year demonstrates the outstanding talent we have in the North of England. It was an extremely tough job for our judges and I didn’t envy them having to make the decisions.
