Rebecca Brown

“…cannot thank Rebecca enough for everything she has done for me. She has been more than helpful and helped eased all my anxieties and worries…”

Rebecca Brown

Family Executive

Rebecca joined MSB in 2006 as legal assistant to the now Managing Partner, Emma Carey. Rebecca built her legal knowledge and experience by working on complex children cases with Emma. After several years of working at MSB, Rebecca committed to transferring her wealth of experience and expertise into a recognised qualification and alongside her work she successfully completed her examinations to become a Legal Executive.

Rebecca is committed to helping parents to resolve children disputes. She has over a decade of experience in cases involving social services and allegations of parental alienation, substance misuse and domestic abuse.

She has developed expertise in international children cases and has experience in representing parents in applications by a parent to live with the children in another country, and cases where a parent has removed a child from the other parent’s care or home country without consent. In these cases, Rebecca is able to act quickly to prevent a child being taken out of the country and obtain urgent court orders where appropriate.

Many of Rebecca’s cases are heard in the High Court in London and Rebecca is often instructed by client’s nationwide and abroad. Where necessary, Rebecca can work with interpreters and translators to ensure instructions are taken accurately and quickly.

Rebecca understands that emotions run high in parental disputes and is adept at putting her clients at ease, removing stress and allowing parents to concentrate on parenting whilst she guides her clients through the court process.
