Poppy Hind

Legal Assistant

I commenced employment with MSB following the period of work experience whilst I was still dealing with my GCSE`s at the Wavetree Office. Following completion of my GCSEs I commenced my A-Levels and over the summer breaks I worked at the Allerton Office. In both roles I was an office administration assistant. I then attended the University of Liverpool to study a Law Degree. I did not enjoy this route to qualification, however as I felt that I wanted to be more involved in the practical sense of working at a Solicitors office. Following numerous interviews, and having to prove my dedication, I was accepted for the new route of Solicitor Apprenticeship at MSB and University of Law.

I have been working towards the completion of my apprenticeship over the last four years. Next year will be my fifth year of study. I will have then obtained my Law Degree. Thereafter, I will start the SQE 1 and then the SQE2 and then I will hopefully qualify as a Solicitor.

I have previously worked in the guardian team which I found extremely enjoyable, and I currently work in Hayley Catherall`s busy team carrying out a wide range of Family Law to include: divorce and finances; private law children; public law children (care work involving social services); non-molestation orders/occupation orders and dealing with co-habitation matters. I really enjoy Family Law and would hope to qualify as a Family Law Solicitor.
