Liam joined the MSB Family Team in 2024 as the Clerk for In House Counsel. Liam’s journey commenced at the Legal Aid Agency, where he honed his skills in managing Criminal billing and High Cost cases over a fruitful seven-year tenure. Seeking new perspectives, he transitioned to St Johns Buildings Chambers and immersed himself in the role of Fees Clerk. It was here that Liam gained invaluable insights into billing from the Counsel’s standpoint – fostering strong relationships with providers and the Court service along the way.

Eager to broaden his horizons, Liam ventured into the realm of solicitors’ billing with a solicitors in Merseyside before returning to Chambers with newfound knowledge and expertise. He joined the ranks of the newly established Unit Chambers as Fees and Business Development Manager and further refined his billing skills while assuming responsibilities in Chambers management. From financial intricacies to personalized clerking and diary management, Liam’s multifaceted role equipped him with a holistic understanding of the legal landscape.
