Trainee Solicitor

Jess joined MSB as a Paralegal within the Family Department in May 2022.

Jess graduated from the University of Liverpool with a First Class Honours in LLB Law in 2018 and has secured a Training Contact with MSB, which is due to commence in January 2024 alongside studying the Legal Practice Course.

As part of the Family team, Jess primarily works within the realms of legal aid across a wide range of children law matters including care proceedings and child arrangements. She also deals with matters involving protective injunctions such as non-molestation orders and occupation orders. Jess has gained experience conducting her own advocacy in proceedings relating to non-molestation orders and is keen to undertake advocacy in other family disputes.

Jess has a particular interest in family law and enjoys that no two days are ever the same. She is passionate about supporting clients through what is often a very overwhelming and difficult time. Jess prides herself on her level of client care and ability to establish a rapport with clients whilst maintaining professionalism.

Jess is excited to begin her Training Contract and embark on the next stage of her career at MSB.
