George Chai

Trainee

George is a trainee solicitor currently working in the MSB’s Commercial Property team. George originally joined the firm as a Paralegal within MSB’s Social Housing department in June 2021 and successfully obtained a Training Contract with MSB in April 2022.

George graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a 1st Class Law Degree in 2020 and then graduated from the Legal Practice Course at Liverpool John Moores University obtaining a Distinction.

Whilst working within the Social Housing team George assisted with a wide range of matters in Social Housing, working on matters concerning Housing management, Possession proceedings and Anti-Social Behaviour cases. George gained experience of drafting evidence and pleadings, helping to prepare cases for Court and attending Court hearings.

George joined MSB’s commercial property team in August 2022 initially working within the plot sales team, representing a high-profile property developer based across the Northwest. George also helps by overseeing several large-scale developments. Working within the Plot Sales team has given George valuable insight into completing large scale property transactions.

George prides himself on his friendly and approachable nature, which assists him in building great rapport with clients of the firm. He is passionate about helping current law students with their future careers and is keen to encourage the firm’s participation in career days with local universities and schools.
