David Tarttelin

David began his career at MSB as a Paralegal in September 2016, before commencing his training contract in September 2018 and qualifying as a Solicitor in November 2020. He graduated with a 2:1 in Law from the University of Liverpool in 2016 and completed his LPC Qualification at Liverpool John Moores University in June 2019.

David is based in the Civil and Commercial Litigation department where his work covers a wide remit of areas such as secured lending disputes, commercial company disputes (including shareholder disputes, breach of contract and insurance claims), and commercial drafting for SMEs and large companies.

Additionally, David regularly receives instructions from secured lenders and can advise in relation to recovery proceedings in relation to development finance, asset finance and residential property. David also has much experience in working closely with LPA Receivers.

David particularly enjoys this area due to the strong relationship that can be developed with the client and the competitive edge litigation can have. David prides himself on being approachable and understanding with clients, ensuring he understands their aims clearly from the outset.

David is also proud to represent MSB on the committee of the Merseyside Junior Lawyers Division of the Law Society as Vice Chair.
