Dan joined MSB in February 2025 as a trainee solicitor in the Crime Department, having worked in criminal defence for the last three years.

As an accredited police station representative, Dan regularly attends police stations to advise clients in matters across the spectrum of offences, including murder; drug and firearm conspiracies and sexual offences. He takes particular pride in advising vulnerable clients, establishing a good rapport with his patient and calming manner.

Dan assists the solicitors in the department in the preparation of magistrates and Crown Court cases and regularly attends court to support clients and counsel.

Dan has experience in advising on Proceeds of Crime Act confiscation and forfeiture proceedings as well as various Road Traffic Act matters, exceptional hardship applications and taxi licence appeals against local authorities.

Effective communication and client satisfaction are of the upmost importance to Dan and he believes that his blend of professionalism and personalisation is key to establishing good relationships with clients.
