Executive Assistant to the Managing Partner

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide dedicated, high-level support to our Managing Partner. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior management and contribute directly to the smooth operation of the firm.

The Role:

As Executive Assistant to the Managing Partner, you will:

  • Manage the Managing Partner’s diary, appointments, and meetings efficiently, ensuring optimal time management
  • Utilise the firm’s case management system and digital dictation tools to prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations
  • Co-ordinate internal and external communications on behalf of the Managing Partner
  • Organise and maintain confidential files, records, and documentation in line with firm policies
  • Support the Managing Partner in preparing for meetings, including compiling briefs and documentation
  • Liaise professionally with clients, senior stakeholders, and team members, maintaining high standards of client care
  • Provide guidance and support to other administrative staff when required
  • Take ownership of ad hoc projects, training, and professional development initiatives as needed
  • Uphold confidentiality and ensure secure handling of sensitive information
  • Draft weekly internal newsletters, collating updates across the firm’s departments
  • Draft agendas, attend Partner’s meetings and prepare minutes
  • Act as a key contact to the firm’s marketing agency, co-ordinating content sharing from the firm’s departments for social media campaigns
  • Arrange and manage a schedule of events across the firm externally and internally

About You:

  • Proven experience supporting senior executives, preferably within a legal environment
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills with an ability to prioritise effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient with office and case management software, digital dictation tools, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with Canva is desirable
  • A proven interest in business development and ESG
  • Adaptable and proactive, with a strong sense of initiative and self-management
  • Collaborative team player with a flexible approach to workload and a commitment to professional growth
