Suzanne Neale

Overview

Suzanne is a Senior Associate Solicitor in the Family Department in Birmingham. With over 20 years’ experience, Suzanne has built an excellent reputation as a solicitor and advocate in the most complex care and private law children matters.

Having qualified as a solicitor in 2008, Suzanne remained at the Birmingham firm, Glaisyers Solicitors LLP, where she progressed to the position of Partner in 2018.

Suzanne joined MSB Solicitors in 2026. She is a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel and is widely recognised for her skill and expertise. She is regularly instructed by parents, family members and for children directly through their Children's Guardians in both public law care proceedings and Rule 16.4 private law cases.

Suzanne has experience in a wide range of cases involving different issues to include non-accidental injury, neglect, serious allegations of sexual, physical and emotional abuse and female genital mutilation. She is particularly respected for her work representing young people directly, including in applications for Secure Accommodation Orders, Deprivation of Liberty Orders and Forced Marriage Protection Orders, as well as in private law proceedings involving intractable contact disputes and alienating behaviours.

In her approach to client service, Suzanne is known for remaining calm and reassuring during difficult periods, while providing pragmatic and realistic legal advice. She has a sensitive and understanding approach to clients.
