Overview
Lauren Thompson is a Trainee Solicitor currently working within the Private Client Family Department at MSB Solicitors. She graduated with a First Class Honours degree in LLB Law with Criminology from the University of Liverpool and recently completed a Master of Laws in Legal Practice (SQE1 & 2) with Distinction at the University of Law. Her experience as a trainee solicitor, paralegal and law clinic volunteer has enabled her to develop strong client care, legal drafting and communication skills. She is passionate about family law, access to justice and giving back to the community through pro bono and charitable initiatives.

Lauren is committed to inclusion and accessibility within the legal profession. At MSB, she has taken part in training on supporting clients with additional needs and has become a Dementia Friend. She has also enjoyed celebrating cultural events such as Diwali, Chinese New Year and Black History Month. She believes it is important to create an environment where both clients and colleagues feel respected, valued and understood.
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)
Social responsibility has always been important to Lauren. She has raised thousands of pounds for causes including the British Heart Foundation and Child Bereavement UK, and regularly organises fundraising events through her family’s charity, which helps provide bereavement support to families and children in her local area. At MSB, she has led bake sales and coffee mornings and has supported careers fairs. She is also keen to increase her involvement with pro bono clinics and continue building a legal career rooted in community impact.
