With a keen interest in the Housing Sector and whilst working in Social Housing, Jess Masih has assisted with an array of matters involving Disrepair, Housing Management and Boundary Disputes. Jess prides herself on being kind and approachable, which helps her work well in her team and build good relationships with clients.
Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI)
Each year, Jess in involved in arranging South Asian Heritage Month celebrations in her office, including organising a delicious feast for everyone to enjoy and learn about South Asian cuisine. As someone with South Asian Heritage, last year, Jess hosted an MSB Learning Lunch in the style of a podcast, alongside other South Asian members of staff, answering questions about growing up South Asian and the importance of owning your heritage and being proud of it, especially in the workplace.
Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)
Jess has a keen interest in employee wellbeing and has implemented Know Your Numbers Week at MSB. This week is dedicated to being aware of your biological markers, in particular blood pressure. Through this initiative, MSB has provided each office with blood pressure monitors to ensure employees are able to track their blood pressure in the office. Jess frequently attends careers fairs at schools and universities, helping and inspiring students about a career in law.
