Jenna Atkinson

Overview

Jenna advises individuals on all aspects of family law arising from the breakdown of a relationship, including divorce and civil partnership dissolution, children arrangements, matrimonial finances pre and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements and cases involving domestic abuse.

Jenna has won various awards over the last few years, including Lawyer of the Year at the Made in Manchester Awards 2025, Kindness and Wellbeing Champion at the Manchester Resolution Awards, and a She Inspires Community Impact Award for the work she undertakes in domestic abuse.

She is passionate about making a difference to clients when they are often going through a difficult time and is committed to delivering an excellent level of service, guiding clients through very challenging situations in their lives. Jenna is committed to providing a service to clients with empathy, respect and kindness.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)

Jenna was chair of the wellbeing committee in her former role and wellbeing is something she is very passionate about, particularly advocating in the legal profession. She is a trustee at the charity Endeavour, which helps people who are going through domestic abuse and has been for over eight years.

Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)

Jenna set up the Be a Little Kinder Campaign in 2020, which is about advocating and promoting kindness by surprising others with a random act of kindness at least once per week. The campaign has gained national recognition in the Law Society Gazette and various articles in local newspapers.

She was also a finalist in the Resolution National Awards in 2025 and reached the finals due to the impact of the campaign for kindness and wellbeing, which is something she is really passionate about.
