Daniel is a Chartered Legal Executive and Senior Associate at MSB Solicitors who graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a degree in Politics before qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2017.

Daniel specialises in children law and has extensive experience in dealing with various types of cases, including care proceedings, private law children matters, non-molestation/occupation order applications, and applications under Article 21 of the Hague Convention 1980.  The breadth of experience that Daniel has allows him to handle complex cases involving serious injuries to children, allegations of sexual abuse, neglect, and domestic violence. He has a particular passion for representing clients involved in care proceedings and ensuring that they receive the support they need throughout their case. Daniel enjoys conducting his own advocacy in the Family Courts and this enables him to provide a comprehensive service to his clients.

After spending ten years in private practice in north Liverpool, Daniel began working at MSB Solicitors in October 2020. During his time at MSB he has taken on various leadership responsibilities and is committed to providing guidance and training to paralegals and trainee solicitors, ensuring that the team is well-equipped to deliver exceptional client service. Along with his commitment to the growth and development of the team, he has a keen interest in innovation and the use of technology in the legal industry. Daniel believes this can bring significant benefits to MSB’s practice by improving efficiency, streamlining processes, and enhancing client outcomes. As an advocate for innovation, he stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and other technologies, and continually explores ways to integrate these into MSB’s legal practice. Daniel’s contributions to the firm led to his promotion to Associate in July 2021 and then Senior Associate in August 2023.

When it comes to client service, he prioritises being personable and pragmatic; he understands that clients approach MSB as legal professionals to help resolve their problems and find solutions. Daniel. therefore, strives to provide an empathetic environment, making sure that his clients feel heard and understood throughout their legal journey. With his extensive knowledge and experience in children law, he offers robust advice on a wide range of legal disputes. Daniel recognises the emotional impact that these cases can have on families, and is committed to providing sound advice with a compassionate approach.
