Amelia Smith

Overview

Amelia graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2023 with a First-Class Honours LLB Law degree before spending a year living and working in Canada. She joined MSB’s Social Housing and Regeneration team as a Paralegal in April 2025 and subsequently secured a Training Contract which commenced in September 2026. Since joining MSB, Amelia has worked across a broad range of social housing matters, developing a well-rounded skill set across both contentious and non-contentious work. She is due to commence her LLM (SQE1 & SQE2) in January 2027.

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)

Alongside her day-to-day role, Amelia is an active member of MSB’s ESG Social Mobility Sub-Committee. She helps to organise and support events with local schools and universities, with the aim of widening access to the legal profession, providing students with greater insight into legal careers and encouraging individuals from all backgrounds to consider a career in law.
