Aishath Shifana Ahmed

Overview

Aishath is a dual-qualified Solicitor in the Secured Lending Department, advising both borrowers and lenders across a range of transactions. She regularly acts for established bridging lenders and financial institutions on complex real estate finance matters. Aishath prides herself in delivering swift, commercially focused, risk-aware advice with a meticulous approach to due diligence.

Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI)

Aishath plays an active role in advancing equality, diversity and inclusion at MSB. She led the launch of the firm’s South Asian Heritage Month celebrations, which in 2024 included hosting a podcast exploring how heritage shapes identity, with colleagues sharing personal reflections on culture, belonging and community. She has also contributed to a range of firm-wide initiatives, including Black History Month and Chinese New Year celebrations, supporting efforts to promote an inclusive and culturally aware workplace.

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)

Aishath is a member of MSB’s Race and Discrimination Sub-Committee, which forms part of the wider ESG Committee. She contributes to the firm’s social impact initiatives and has participated in career fairs and sat on panel discussions focused on promoting access to the legal profession and supporting aspiring lawyers from different backgrounds.
