How can we help

Making or updating a Will

A carefully prepared Will gives you control over what happens to your estate and helps protect your loved ones. We can advise on straightforward Wills, more complex family arrangements, inheritance tax considerations and updating an existing Will after a change in circumstances.

Probate and estate administration

If someone close to you has died, we can guide you through the legal and practical steps involved in administering their estate. This may include applying for probate, dealing with assets and liabilities, communicating with beneficiaries and ensuring the estate is distributed correctly.

Lasting Powers of Attorney

A Lasting Power of Attorney allows you to appoint someone you trust to make decisions for you if you are unable to do so in the future. We can prepare and register LPAs covering property and financial affairs, health and welfare, or both.

Court of Protection

Where someone has lost mental capacity and does not have a valid Power of Attorney in place, an application to the Court of Protection may be needed. We can advise on Deputyship applications, Statutory Wills and decisions relating to property and financial affairs.

Trusts, inheritance tax and estate planning

For clients with more complex estates, blended families, business assets or inheritance tax concerns, we can provide practical estate planning advice to help protect assets and provide clarity for the future.

Disputes about Wills or estates

If there is a disagreement about a Will, inheritance, an estate or the actions of an executor, we can advise on your options and help you understand the best way forward.

Excellent solicitors

"Robert Lee and Caroline Chamberlain have been so helpful whilst I was dealing with my late brother's estate. It’s been a really stressful time what with losing my brother, and not knowing what I needed to do. Also, the complex situation I had to deal with regarding my late brother’s estate and the beneficiaries. Robert and Caroline are really experienced in their roles. I received excellent regular, and clear communication from them both throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend them both to friends and family who require advice and support."
