Karla CopeKarla Cope – Head of Wills, Estates & Court of Protection

Karla attended Edge Hill University and graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in 2007 with a LLB(Hons) Law Degree. Karla then went on to complete the Fast-Track Diploma with CILEx and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2017.
Karla has over 10 years experience dealing with all aspects of Wills, Probate and Court of Protection with a keen interest in Lifetime Estate Planning. Having worked with contentious probate matters in the past, Karla is able to advise on situations where complicated family issues may cause a problem and clients often say that she takes the pressure away when they are struggling during difficult times for both Wills and Probate matters.
Karla’s specialism is preparing Wills for clients; ensuring that their personal and, if needed, their Business assets are dealt with. She enjoys helping clients with their  Lifetime Estate Planning which not only involves preparing your Will but also explores Lasting Powers of Attorney and how they can make difficult times that much easier whilst you are alive.
Karla also provides advice regarding Court of Protection matters when a person no longer has the capacity to look after their own affairs.

Karla is experienced in all aspects of probate work, including the administration of taxable and non-taxable estates, and has also worked on insolvent estates.

Karla prides herself on being friendly and approachable.  
Outside of work Karla enjoys socialising with family and friends and she also loves to travel. Karla enjoys travelling to both hot and cold climates and in particular enjoys snowboarding in the winter months.
