Mak began his experience in the legal sector at the age of 18, conducting work experience under Pauline McNamara at PMC Family Law. Mak has since graduated from the University of Manchester with a First Class Degree in Law with Criminology. He is currently in the final stages of completing his LPC with a Masters in Professional Legal Practice.

Since joining MSB in June 2019, Mak has worked predominantly in the Private Client Family department, assisting the Head of Department in the most complex divorce, financial and co-habitee disputes.

Mak has a keen interest in the family law sector, specifically dealing with complex matrimonial matters and finances ancillary to divorce. He has experience in matrimonial proceedings dealing with complex corporate/business structures. Moreover he has experiences in dealing with the most complex of pension provisions on divorce and deals with a range of trusts.

Mak recognises that family law is a fast moving area of the law and understands that the nature of the assets in a marriage are always changing. He therefore has knowledge of crypto-assets and crypto-currency, which are becoming ever more prevalent in todays society.
