MSB Solicitors has played a major role in the expansion of Signature Living Developments - representing the group in its latest venture Signature Works.

MSB assisted Signature with the £3m purchase of the Bling Bling Building in March. The iconic building on Hanover Street was home to celebrity hairdresser Herbert Howe, and is the third in the Signature Works portfolio.

The salon will remain on the first floor of the building, which was designed by Peter Gough to reflect the personality of flamboyant Howe, who died in October.
Signature Works is the co-working arm of Signature Living Developments, which will introduce almost 20,000 sq ft of flexible work space to the market in Liverpool city centre.

Co-working has become a popular option with a growing community of freelancers and sole-traders, but is also used by large corporates to cut travel times and reduce inefficiencies.
Officevibe reports that by 2020, 40% of the total workforce will be freelancers, temporary workers, independent contractors and ‘solepreneurs’.

Plans for the Bling Bling Building will comprise 8,000 sq ft of office space, including two meeting rooms, 55 co-working desks, 30 dedicated desks, 10 private offices an on-site café and designs for a rooftop extension.

Partner and head of commercial property at MSB, Neil Kelly, says: “We have a long and trusted relationship with Lawrence and the team at Signature Living.
“The group is making a significant impact in the commercial and residential property market in the city and beyond and we’re pleased to continue to support them through this latest phase.”
