At any time in the business cycle you could be sidetracked by a commercial dispute.  We can assist you to unravel problems which you may be encountering, and we seek to settle disputes before they run out of hand.  However, sometimes a dispute cannot be settled and we will then represent you in any court proceedings that may ensue, and we will do so with vigour and in accordance with the English tradition of adversarial litigation.  If your case has a reasonable chance of success, generally 60% or more then we may be able to arrange insurance to cover you against an adverse costs award if you were to lose.  Insurance is usually provided in conjunction with Amtrust Insurance.  We would generally expect you to pay for our costs as you go along, although in good cases we may consider entering a conditional fee agreement with you.  Please contact Mark Foreman.  Some of the disputes we have recently dealt with include.

Meet The Team

Mark Forman - Partner

Mark attended Birmingham University from where he obtained a law degree, LLB Hons 2:1 and qualified as a Solicitor in 1994.

From there Mark trained with Martineau Johnson in Birmingham, and then Cuff Roberts and Weightmans in Liverpool.  He then set up his own firm with Neil Kelly and then joined MSB.

Mark lives in Liverpool with his wife and 3 children and follows football (LFC) and cricket.

Mark deals with commercial law; commercial litigation and employment matters.

David Parkinson - Solicitor
 

David graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2006.

After chancing it as a rock star with his band David completed the Legal Practice Course and joined MSB in 2008 before commencing his Training Contract in November 2009. David qualified in December 2011 and deals with commercial litigation matters.

Being from Manchester David is a keen football fan and supports a very successful football team...
