Our Probate department operates from our offices at 17 Allerton Road. We are able to provide a broad range of services from straightforward Wills and Powers of Attorney to more complex areas involving Inheritance Tax planning and the setting up of Trusts. We also act for Executors and Administrators in the winding up of the Estates of the Deceased. We are happy to take on board the entire administration, collecting in the assets of the Deceased, notifying and repaying all creditors of the Deceased and distributing the Estate to the Beneficiaries.

We deal with both social welfare and property and affairs Lasting Powers of Attorney.

We also act on behalf of persons who wish to be appointed as deputies to deal with property and affairs on behalf of another person who has lost mental capacity.
 
We will also act for any family member who feels that they have been unfairly left out of a Will or deprived of what they may consider to be a reasonable financial provision following the death of somebody upon whom they were financially dependent, or a family member

Michele Henderson- Chartered Legal Executive

Michele specialises in estate administration and accounting, executorships and probate, tax and estate planning.

She also deals with Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of protection practice and drafting wills.

She has had experience in helping to trace missing beneficiaries and extracting  special grants of representation.

As well as having qualifications in law and tax she is a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Outside of the office she is a keen mountain and hill walker, runner, cook and lover of the performing arts.
