MSB have partnered with women’s education provider Blackburne House to deliver free family advice sessions each Thursday morning from 9.15am until 12midday.
Head of Family at MSB, Emma Carey will be delivering drop in advice sessions from Blackburne House each week and can advise on issues including divorce, financial disputes, children issues and care proceedings and co-habitation disputes.
Emma is also experienced in domestic violence issues and has dealt with a number of international children cases, including child abduction.
Emma is known for her caring and understanding approach and it is hoped that these sessions will provide a friendly and informal environment for women who are feeling vulnerable or nervous about dealing with legal issues.
Blackburne House is based on the corner of Hope Street and Falkner Street in Liverpool’s Georgian Quarter; and whilst it is a centre of education for women, the advice sessions are open to anybody looking for informal advice on family legal matters.
