Jo Dalton - Partner (Non Lawyer) & Practice Manager
Following an enjoyable 12 years in accounts at EAD Solicitors, I decided that I wished to invest more of my energies into Practice Management and was delighted when the opportunity arose at MSB.
As well as overseeing the day to day running of our offices, I continue to be responsible for the firm’s legal and management accounts whilst also ensuring quality standards, that go beyond mere compliance, in training, professional ethics, health & safety issues and personnel development.
This has been demonstrated by the implementation of a central IT structure in which I have incorporated the use of cutting-edge case management and digital dictation platforms to both benefit our clients and our growing staff.
As a reflection of these standards set, and maintained, I was delighted to see this vision recognised by way of receiving the prestigious Lexcel accreditation in 2009. This was further complemented by being elevated to Partner (non-lawyer) status as of 01 March 2010.
None of this could have happened, I doubt, were it not for the recuperation and inspiration allowed by occasionally taking the air whilst walking in The Lake District or languishing in foreign climes with my husband Keith
