Meet The Team

Nick Sweeney - Consultant

Nick graduated from Manchester University and qualified as a Solicitor in November 1989.

Nick is experienced in all aspects of commercial property including acquisitions and disposals and leases of industrial commercial and office properties and development sites for both commercial and residential purposes. Nick has a wealth of experience dealing with all aspects of residential and mixed use schemes including acquisitions, development and disposals. Nick is also experienced in contentious property matters and all aspects of landlord and tenant law.

Nick is a keen supporter of Everton football club.  He is a member of Childwall Golf Club.  He also enjoys cricket, tennis and the theatre.

Neil Kelly - Partner

Neil qualified as a Solicitor in 1989.

Neil acts for many private companies, family businesses and entrepreneurs providing advice on all aspects corporate work including sales and disposals, corporate finance and shareholder and joint venture arrangements.  He joined MSB in September 2010 and has advised clients for over 20 years having trained and spent many years working as a partner in the corporate department at Weightmans and latterly at the commercial law firm CFK Legal.

 

Away from the office his interests are running, music and Everton Football Club

Paul Bibby

Paul graduated from UWE in 1984 and qualified as a Solicitor in 1986.

Paul is the firm's Managing Partner and is responsible for the implementation and delivery of the firm's business strategy.  He is also head of Residential Conveyancing. His time is divided between those roles and fee earning in the area of commercial property and residential conveyancing..

Paul has been happily married for 23 years and has two teenage sons.  Away from work his interests are golf and Everton Football Club.

Darren Barwick - Associate Solicitor

Darren is a Solicitor and graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 1997

 ...Darren specialises in residential and mixed-use development schemes and also undertakes a variety of residential and commercial acquisitions and disposals for individuals and property investment companies.   Darren has experience of property finance transactions, acting for both lenders and borrowers in relation to all aspects of secured lending, acquisition and development finance. Darren also acts for both landlord and tenant in commercial lease transactions.

Away from the office Darren enjoys Running, Snowboarding and Scubadiving.

Melissa Bosoboe - Trainee Solicitor

Melissa graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 2003 and completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law Chester in 2004. She has worked in conveyancing for the past 6 years and joined MSB Solicitors in September 2010 commencing her training contract.

Outside of work she enjoys socialising with friends, travelling and participating in gigs around the country with Batala.
